this is a very shallow statement on your part , To say that everyone should consume is to be selfish? why should one buy something they dont need? to be a true consumer is to be feeder cattle they consume they produce nothing ......until slaughter! then they get consumed by others! do your part ! i will wait until you get fat and tender then i wil come in and consume you continue!

Barney Frank's homosexual relationship with Herb Moses (Fannie Mae executive) has not even been whispered in the mainstream media...classic and usual cover-up. Check it out for yourself if you are one that is intellectually honest and not just trying to push the old "right thinking us , wrong thing them" mindset. How did he get the job, how much of our $ was he paid ?? I'm sure YT will look into this matter...right? right? hello...right. Sure you will because you are all about justice..right?

care? self esteem? capital letters? good debate. keep it up
shikira 2008-09-23
this is typical mindless drivel - something you would expect from media in the USA
chessarama 2008-09-23
Of course you care because it's affecting your self-esteem. You can't even use capital letters in your messages anymore. Boy, are you shriveled up!
MacPete187 2008-09-23
Your point is irrevelent.. you want consumption, then tell the American government to to stop raping the youth with the illusion of social security checks for their older age. Every single one of them are paying for this in every single check they make. You go dig yourself a hole in the ground, stick your head in it, and fill it up.

ISSAY68 2008-09-21
yah,the government depends on all of us consumers....if a consumer like me go bancrupt because my hard earned money goes to bailout every sob corporation how can i consume....hihihi!
UnconcernedCitizen 2008-09-21
This whole financial collapse thing is just a fad. Relax. It will pass. Instead of being a passive observer, nervously shaking on the sidelines, go buy something to help the economy. You are a consumer. Act like one.
P.S. Americans have a right to consume. Indeed, it is our duty. Without consumption, we are without meaning and without meaning we are without purpose and without purpose we are without.
chessarama 2008-09-21
What happened? You don't seem amused anymore.
chessarama 2008-09-21
Aren't you sorry you rudely replied to my first response when it wasn't even none of your business in the first place??
If you keep grunting you'll keep your IQ above zero.

You have nothing creative to write. That's why your period is lasting longer than it should.

Easy, Ms. Parulkarg. Remember to drink cranberry juice and to change your tampon.

I'm tired of the GOP ideal of privatizing profits while socializing costs. (Read AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) I don't like the bailing out of these poorly run, mismanaged, publicly held, companies who are guilty of corporate avarice and capitalist malfeasance. It amounts to welfare for the rich.
idrobinhood 2008-09-20
CFR at work
Vague explained $500 Billion Dollar Bailout.
AIG given a loan or mortgage of $84 Billion at 12% interest. Suddenly $500 Billion made out of nothing or a $84 Billion loan. Debt into money. Nothing is backing the $500 Billion Bail out.
AIG is worth 100 time over its value...
parulkarg 2008-09-20
you dont know shit about my self esteem. mind your own fucked up esteem.
